RTR is boarding two of our needy souls as we have no room to house them! The boarding fees are mounting daily and we see no end in sight! Please make a donation today to assist us in keeping a roof over their heads. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST BASIC NEEDS A DOG HAS AND WITHOUT THIS, WE CANNOT HELP THEM! Visit our 'ways to help' section and click the paypal link or mail donations to PO Box 231 Minneola, Florida 34755.
This is Lilly before we took her...now you see WHY we chose to board her, rather then leave her with people capable of this kind of neglect. | This is Lilly NOW! She was suffering terribly and in great need of vet care. We had no room but had to get her out of the terrible conditions she was in. See her before pics and you will know why we decided to board her. | BB was a stray on the side of the road. Not chipped and with no place to go but a kill shelter, RTR could not turn our backs on this sweet boy who loves EVERYONE and EVERYTHING! |

From health care to housing. Many of our animals come to us with heartworms and other sicknesses or they simply have no place to sleep but the streets. We have past pics and stories below that have been fulfilled but the present urgent needs are listed at the top for you to see.
Lily LCAS 2015Lily was picked up by animal services just wandering the streets. No one knows her history but not one person stepped forward to claim this little girl....SO WE DID! Sadly, she is heartworm positive and as we have seen before this will cost any where from $1,000 to $1,500 to treat. Please help us to make this little girl healthy. | Lily 2015 LCAS.JPG | Lily Lcas.JPG |

ZachTaken off the street by Lake County Animal Services, Zach had been the victim of a hit and run. He suffered 2 broken legs and had a very bleak future. RTR was notified when no other rescue could take him. We have since had a very successful fundraiser and have covered almost every dime of his medical costs. He still has a long road to recovery but we are positive that he will be as good as new and ready for adoption in no time! Thank you to everyone who assisted us with medical costs! | Zach released from hospital.JPG | Zack LCAS A.jpg |

Rosie is another stray that was heartworm positive. We never did a fundraiser for her but we are going on her 4th month of treatment and we can certainly use any assistance possible with her medical costs. She is being treated by You've Got a Friend Clinic in Mascotte Florida.
Bobby after surgery at AVS | Bobby in Animal Control after being hit by a car and left in the street to die | Bobby was an urgent need that hapened last summer. We took him from LCAS after they picked him up in the street. His pelis had been fractured on one side and broken ont he other. He had surgery at AVS and thanks to many WONDERFUL donors, we were able to raise the $6,000 plus dollars to make him whole again. Now he is adopted and living a happy life with his new Dad! |
